By accident, I downloaded this movie from BT Swallow. And accidently, I found out that the story just takes place in London, the town that I’ve been always longing for since the moment I got my consciousness, or I should say awareness, of this world was gifted. And for the entire afternoon, I’ve been extremely absorbed in this splendid movie…
On a cloudy London morning, the couple, Ian and Samantha just woke up, and found that it’s gonna be late for Ion’s presentation unless they hurry up for everything. It was not their day absolutely. A cup of Coca Cola tossed on Samantha’s shirt when a motorcycle stormed by the corner where she kept waiting for the green light, a passenger bumped into her couple of minutes after, a billiard ball smashed Ion’s glass, watch clashed, and of course also the failure of his presentation attached… and on the end of the day, Samantha killed in a traffic accident in the evening after her graduate concert. And meanwhile, both of them found something wrong with their relationship…
All the above was found a nightmare when Ion was shock by the supposedly killed darling murmuring making a joke in his back. Suddenly he felt so blessed since anything awful happened was nothing but a dream. Sooner however, he learnt that some of the incidents occurred in the nightmare un-alteredly or nearly re-occurred in the real life. The tossed Coca Cola, the clashed watch, the broken glass… He was terribly afraid of losing Samantha, the one who truly loves him, and tried his best to prevent everything foreseen from happening. Gradually did Ion learn how important the girl means to him and finally Ion hopped into the cab which was crashed in the dream and, will most probably take him to the end of his life, together with his beloved who was totally un-informed of the presumed tragic ending. In the end, Samantha survived...
…
- Samantha: What?
- Ian: I love you!
- Samantha: Oh~ I love you too!
- Ian: I wanna tell you why I love you.
- Samantha: It’s… it’s raining! You know that right?
- Ian: I have to tell you this and, you need to hear it.
I loved you since I met you. But I wouldn't allow myself to truly feel it until today. I was always thinking ahead, making decision (so of fear) (Who can help me with this?). Today, because of you, what I learnt from you. Every choice I have made was different and my life, has completely changed. And I've learnt, that if you do that, (you) then you're living your life fully. It doesn't matter if you have, 5 minutes or 50 years. Samantha if not for today if not for you, I will never have known love at all… So thank you for being the person who taught me to love, and to be loved.
- Samantha: … I don't know what do say~
- Ian: You don't have to say anything… I just wanted to tell you.

Absolutely excellent movie, undoubtedly, whatever other people say, it’s been the very best movie that I have ever seen, in my life. Greate acting, amazing scenario, perfectly shot.
I was so much swamped and moved by the greate greate significance of love conveyed between the lines above and of course the fabulous acting under the pouring London rain as well, that I just can’t help crying. So impressive, so sensational!!! This is all about love…
The hero in the play is very much a typical, standard British gentleman, who got me aware of the fact that the English I’ve been speaking for nearly one year is no longer British but SA accent. (Once upon a time, I was told by Mark that I did have the accent whereas I just thought it was sort of compliment.) I love it!!! And he just totally, entirely, completely got me off the hook, recovering me from a big misinterpretation of British accent which means too much upon my faith in English and the British culture. I’m grateful to the Jude Law looked-like actor, Paul Nicholls. You’re just excellent! Thanks so much.

Sorry, there’s still too much that I haven’t written or cannot write here due to my not very good English… So, till later!!!
(I’m hungry... starving!!!)
